Whitton Junior Netball Club.

Whitton Netball Club started up their Junior section in 2003 with the help of the Richmond Sports Development team and the Active Sports programme.

The Junior teams of Whitton Netball Club have been expanding and progressing massively over the last couple of years. In 2008/2009 over 125 girls registered to join the club. Whitton Juniors has successfully grown from an initial 2 age groups to 7 age groups with all teams receiving regular training and playing at competitive levels.

The club provides high quality Netball coaching with skills, drills and match play in a friendly, safe and enjoyable environment. All senior coaches are qualified and he club has been awarded its Bronze CAPS status which ensures its organisation is approved by England Netball.

The club meets weekly between September and the end of May, excluding school holidays, at the following times

At Stanley School, Strathmore Rd , Teddington, TW11 8UE

Year 5 (U10) Mondays from 5-6pm.

Year 7 (U12) Mondays from 6-7.30pm

At Lady Eleanor Holles School, Hanworth Rd, Hampton

Year 9, 10 and 11 (U14,15,16) Tuesdays from 6.30-8pm

Year 6 (U11) Sundays from 9.15-10.15am.

Year 8 (U13) Sundays from 10.30-12noon.

Matches are on various days and at different venues and parents usually club together to share lifts.

All age groups from U11 participate in Surrey leagues which are held on Sundays at Nonsuch School, Cheam.  This season the U16s are representing Surrey in the regional league. 


The club has a strong showing in the county academies and this year we are delighted that Holly Wilson has been selected to train with the London and SE regional U19 squad.
