Whitton Netball Club started up their Junior section in 2003 and have gone from strength to strength. Starting with 2 teams they have expanded and progressed and last year fielded 11 teams with 130 members from 9-16years.

The club provides high quality Netball coaching with skills, drills and match play in a friendly, safe and enjoyable environment. We have two coaches who are qualified at EN Level 2 and our Assistant Coaches are either teachers or senior club players. Our head coach Peta Neilson was awarded Grassroots Coach of the Year for the London & South East Region for 2010. 

A number of our players have become young netball leaders, helping with the younger age groups and giving something back to the club. 3 girls have attended a Young Leader residential course in the last 2 years sharing experiences with leaders from other sports.

The club was accredited with its Bronze CAPS Award in 2006. This ensures that the club complies with a variety of criteria laid down by England Netball and is a safe and well run organisation.

We have an annual awards evening where presentations are made to girls who have shown commitment, progress and ability and coaches usually organise a social event for their teams at Christmas.
