Whitton Netball Club is lucky to have dedicated and passionate coaches.

Margaret Gaunt

Maggie has coached netball in schools for over 30 years and took over coaching at Whitton in late 1990's, initially as a player/coach.  After completing her level 2 coaching award in 2000 she made the decision to stop playing and concentrate on her main passion, coaching.

Maggie started up the Whitton Junior Netball Club in 2003 and in 2006 decided to stop coaching the seniors and concentrate on training the juniors in order to develop the club. A number of the U16's have been coached by Maggie since joining the club 5 years ago and are now moving up to the seniors.

Maggie's commitment to the growth and success of the club is commendable and greatly appreciated. 

Peta Neilson

Peta took over in the 08/09 season as Head Coach for the senior teams following the departure of Natalie Swift.

Peta's coaching style ensures she accommodates players of all standards and she regularly changes her coaching techniques to get the most out of each player.

Peta's success as a coach was shown when the Whitton A squad won their league last season and were promoted to the County League.

Peta's commitment to the club is greatly appreciated by all players.
