Season 10/11 Training Plan

8 - 8.15pm - Club Warm Up

8.15 - 8.35 - Club drills

8.35 - 8.50 - Squad skills/drills

8.50 - 9.50 - Game play (This will be rotated on a 3 week basis)

                  Week 1 - 8.50 - 9.10 A v B (A team focus for coach)

                                  9.10 - 9.30 C V B (B team focus for coach)

                                  9.30 - 9.50 A V C (C team focus for coach)

                  Week 2 - 8.50 - 9.10 C v B (C team focus for coach)

                                  9.10 - 9.30 AV C (A team focus for coach)

                                  9.30 - 9.50 A V B (B team focus for coach)

                  Week 3 - 8.50 - 9.10 A v C (C team focus for coach)

                                  9.10 - 9.30 A V B (A team focus for coach)

                                  9.30 - 9.50 B V C (B team focus for coach)

9.50 - Pack up and details for Saturday's matches.

N.B. All squads will have 40 minutes of skills/drills and 40 minute of game play every training session.

Peta will split her time between squads during skills/drills and each squad will have their own 20 minute focus time in match play.

 

Captains' responsibilities

  • Captains will take it in turns to be the time keeper for training sessions, ensuring sessions run on time.
  • Captains will report to Peta by Sunday evening if there is anything they would like her to focus on in the next training session.
  • Captains will be responsible for ensuring their squads continue training whilst they are not involved in the game play.
